The most friendly and helpful staff I have ever met. Modest but very nice, clean and well designed rooms. Very tasty European breakfasts as well as nice khmer cuisine Strongly recommended for people interested in spending their time in cosy and friendly atmosphere. Perfect location. No surprise they have received the Trip Advisor’s certificate of excellence. At Villa Médamrei you will see that what makes a difference is people!

The hotel is superbly located, right in the center of town, with easy access to the lively night market and bustling pub street. It's just a short 3-minute walk to the old market, making it extremely convenient for exploring the local activities and attractions in Siem Reap. The staff here are wonderful, always friendly, polite, and incredibly helpful. They go above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. The rooms are comfortable, with spacious double beds and refreshing air conditioning. The breakfast is served with a plate of fruits, providing a healthy start to the day. I especially enjoyed the view from the breakfast area, overlooking the vibrant streets of Siem Reap as the city wakes up.
No improvements needed, everything was spot on.

The staff and owner were amazing (thanks heaps). The service and friendliness were what you would expect at a top class five star hotel. The rooms are clean and recently renovated. The whole place is one of the best overall experience's I have had in all my travels around the globe and totally unexpected for this, my second trip to Siem reap.
Hard to pick but if I had to, I would suggest maybe a hot water tap on the wash basin on the next renovation. I am a really hard person to please so this is being really picky and most people would even notice something like this in a place like Siem reap.

Hotel was a short stroll from Pub St and the markets. Restaurants, nightlife, shopping, money exchange, laundry services, pharmacy are all in very close proximity. Hotel is new and has contemporary decor with a relaxed atmosphere.
Poor lighting both in the hallway and in rooms. Even with all the lights on, it was difficult to read a book. Hotel has a no shoe policy, but this understandable as roads outside are dusty and muddy if it has been raining.

Very nice overall design. Although it is located in a relatively noisy area, but the design makes it as a quite and comfortable place. Really nice stuff, will choose it for the second time if going.
The room I stayed is a bit dim, if possible, better to have stronger lighting.

The hotel is located right in the center of the town, just across from the night market. This makes it very convenient to explore and participate in all the activities. The rooms are just as shown in the photos, with a beautiful secret garden. The attention to detail is evident, and the air conditioning ensures a comfortable stay. The breakfast is served with a plate of fruits and offers a view to the east over the bustling Siem Reap streets. It's a great way to start the day.
Everything was okay.

All the staff were really friendly and helpful when providing assistance and advice, including local attractions and tour options.
Rooms not very sound-proof. Was awaken by the music in the hallway at 7am and neighbors' slamming doors.

We were pleasantly surprised by the warm and welcoming atmosphere at the hotel. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted with a refreshing drink and snack, making us feel instantly at ease. The room we stayed in was clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated, providing a comfortable and cozy environment. The hotel's location was perfect, just a short distance away from popular attractions and without the noise of the bustling streets. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to assist us with anything we needed. Although there were a few minor issues such as dim lighting and a small balcony, overall our experience at Villa Medamrei was fantastic.

My stay at Villa Medamrei had been very memorable. The owner went out of his way to ensure that I was very well looked after. The Villa Medamrei provided free transportation from the airport to the Villa. The owner organised all of my excursions for me. It had been a wonderful experience. I highly recommend Villa Medamrei. It is very central and close to restaurants and the markets.
